Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is worried of losing power after the results, and is so making unnecessary allegations, said Ambati Rambabu.
Speaking to the media, the YSRCP leader said, “Being a Chief Minister of a state, Naidu is making false allegations on the system only due to the fear of getting down from the Chief Minister’s seat. He is worried that the public is on YSRCP’s side.”
Referring to the statements of Naidu that the entire system is corrupted, Ambati said that not the entire system, but Naidu alone is corrupted and he is the actual culprit. “Naidu is now questioning the democracy. Didn’t he realize the same when he bought the MLAs from the other parties,” Ambati questioned.
Ambati Rambabu further alleged that Naidu tops the list of those who cheated the democracy and added that the AP CM even used the Intelligence department, which is supposed to be in the democratic limits, for his own benefits.
After concluding the assembly and Lok Sabha elections in AP, Naidu has been alleging that the Election Commission has been compromised and is acting according to the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He even took the issue to Delhi, and protested over there, with few of his friends in the regional parties of the other states.
Naidu demanded to count all the VVPAT slips and also for a re-polling if necessary. But there was no response from the EC, for it. Instead, the EC went against Naidu, saying that he has no right to conduct the reviews of the governmental programmes, when the election code is in the implementation.
Aggrieved over this, Naidu further busted against the EC, saying that it is intentionally targeting only the AP government, and leaving all the other state governments, which are performing all the governmental activities, with no restrictions.
