Even after receiving the series of debacles and humiliating results in Telangana, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu is still moving ahead strongly. The dynamic ex-CM has decided to contest in the upcoming municipal elections of Telangana.
Regarding the same, Naidu has called for a meeting with Telangana TDP leaders in Hyderabad’s NTR Trust Bhavan today. Asking the party leaders to prepare for the elections, he instructed them to form committees for the same and work towards witnessing victory.
Telangana municipal elections notification is set to be released in January. TRS party is betting big on the elections as it witnessed a magical victory in Huzurnagar by elections recently.

Anticipating that the RTC strike effect would impact the ruling party’s fate in the elections, Telangana Chief Minister KCR had been pleasing the corporation workers with several schemes like bonus, bio-toilets etc. Even if the RTC employees stay strict and shift towards an alternative, Congress and also TDP could benefit out of it. Naidu seems to be betting on the same and is vigorously preparing his party leaders to contest in the elections.
