Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday, blamed BJP for the violence in Kolkata yesterday.
Naidu alleged that BJP is exposing its true colors, by resorting to direct violence on West Bengal government The national party earlier made several trials to destabilize it, through CBI, ED and IT department.
“Vandalising the statue of a great reformer like Sri Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar is an indication of the pseudo-nationalism practiced by the BJP. This incident underlines the need for all the opposition parties to stand united against the destructive tactics of Amit Shah-led BJP,” Naidu tweeted.
Naidu further alleged that, Amit Shah during his rally in Kolkata used vandals to create violence. He said that people are aware of how Modi used Amit Shah tried to create hatred among people in Gujarat. He opined that BJP has no strength in Bengal but it is still trying to create unnecessary disturbances targeting a senior woman leader like Mamata Banerjee.
Naidu has earlier campaigned for Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress and lauded her for her commitment towards the public service. He opined that Mamatha would play a crucial role in the national politics after the results announcement on May 23rd.
