Tollywood actor Varun Tej starrer Operation Valentine is slated to release on March 1. This movie is directed by Shakti Pratap Singh in the backdrop of Indian Airforce and is about how the Indian Air Force works and how they risk their lives to save the country.
During the pre-release ceremony of the movie, Nagababu made controversial comments. He said that Varun Tej has been doing risky roles since the beginning of his career. He said that 6.3 height and body language of Varun Tej are perfect for Indian Army and Police type roles. He added that a 5.3 inch tall man is not good looking to play police roles.
This stirred a controversy and drew lot of criticism stating that he is body shaming other actors. Nagababu today, took to X and conveyed his Sorry to those who have hurt with his words. He expalined that his words are not intentional and they came in flow of his speech. He said that he didnt mean to hurt anyone and said sorry to those who have been hurt by his words. He also said that he is taking his words back. He urged to understand and hoped everyone forgives him.
