Pan India star Vijay Devarakonda and path breaking director Puri Jagannath’s crazy pan India project ‘Liger’ is all set for a grand release on August 25. The already released trailer and songs have raised the expectations on the film across the country.
Actor Vishu Reddy, who plays the antagonist in the film, has interacted with the media ahead of the release.
When asked about his journey with director Puri Jagannath, Vishu said, “Even before I met Puri, I was addicted to his films. I am his big fan. They called me after watching my martial arts videos. I met him in 2015. He said that he would make a film in the background of martial arts. I have done his Mehbooba, ISmart Shankar, and Romantic film. Finally, my dream came true with Liger. I feel very lucky.”
When asked how did he become the CEO of Puri Connects, “The talented actor said, “I did some films before coming to Puri. Josh is his debut film. I played a small negative role in it. Later, I worked as a production and assistant director and understood the industry. I did the production of Mehabooba. Puri trusted me and made me the CEO.”
Speaking about his role between strong characters like Vijay and Mike Tyson, Vishnu said, “I am playing the role of a very arrogant fighter. What is the enmity between Vijay and my character can be understood after watching the film. A legend fighter character was required in Liger. Legend means we remember Mike Tyson. There was no better option than him. He liked the story and felt happy to come into the project.”
Concluding his interaction, the actor said that he is ready for all kinds of roles. “As an actor, I do all the roles. I am a white paper. It will be whatever the director writes on it.”
