The situation in Telangana is all in favour of the TRS party at the moment but there is a thing that is bothering the son of the Chief Minister, KTR. He wants to show his caliber to the state as their future CM by securing a landslide victory in the ongoing municipal polls.
The election body has set up a total of 1438 polling stations in 9 municipal Corporations and 6325 in 120 municipalities. The people will elect 325 corporators for nine corporations and 2727 councilors will be elected for 120 municipalities. The poll body has made required arrangements for the polls in all the districts.
As of now, the poll percentage is too low to make rough estimates on the polling process. The BJP who seemed to be tough opposition in some districts is trying its best to lure the voters at the last minute. With just 2 days left for the results, KCR wouldn’t want to take any chance in the municipal polls.
Over 50 lakh voters will decide the fate of TRS, Congress and BJP candidates in which the Congress has already been ruled out of the competition. The BJP is using their resources at the center to turn the tide their way and KTR is the only resistance left for the TRS party. The biggest question is, can he acquire what he wants?
