The 104 services were supposed to provide better services to the people during the Corona crisis. But the services are not operating properly. Recently, MP Vijaysai Reddy toured Visakhapatnam. On this occasion, he visited the District Collector’s Office and visited the 104 control rooms there. He waited there for a long time to monitor the situation. He expressed suspicion and dialed 104 from his mobile while staying in the control room. It did not connect. With this, the MP was impatient and tried dialing 104 for about 20 minutes.
Vijayasai Reddy immediately called A. Babu, a senior IAS officer supervising 104, and inquired about the issue. Babu explained to the MP that the calls were delayed due to a temporary technical issue in the server. Vijayasaireddy advised the authorities to rectify the issue immediately.
