Nani, who is branded as the ‘natural star’ has come up with an intense sports drama titled Jersey. Starring Shraddha Srinath and Nani as the husband and wife, Jersey movie is one of the most-awaited flicks of the season. Jersey has finally hit the screens today, carrying high expectations.


Nani has played the role of Arjun who is shown as a youngster trying to achieve something in the field of cricket. Arjun is shown as a depressed middle-aged man who faces a low phase in his life. Arjun’s wife Sara has a problem with this phase of his life. Arjun tries to reset his life and pushes himself to win in his favorite field.

What are the barriers he faces during the journey in his life, how he wins his love before marriage and how he loses his weight in the eyes of his wife, how he resets his life for his kid is Jersey all about.

Roles and Performances:

Natural Star Nani has grabbed the whole attention with his outstanding performance as Arjun. The emotions are carried throughout the movie.

It can be marked a superb debut for Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath. She has portrayed a complex role with ease.Other actors justified their roles well.

Technical Aspects:

Though the story is as simple as the above words, the intensity and the emotional feel that every scene carries is just unmatchable. Nani’s action is the soul for the movie and the extraordinary emotion that revolves around.

Director Goutham Thinnanuri has provided his best as per the emotions and the core feel. The intense emotions portrayed in the movie are heart-touching.

The story is well-paced though there is a lag here and there. The screenplay could have been better if there was no lag in the narration. The cinematography is good. Production values are good too.

The bgm provided by Anirudh Ravichander compliments well with the screenplay and the emotion.

Final Verdict:

The intense, emotional sports drama titled Jersey can be termed as the best movie for ‘Nani’. His action in this movie will be remembered. A good watch. Nani seems to be back with a fantabulous performance.
