This COVID-19 pandemic made our lives very difficult and we are in a situation that we can’t celebrate any grand occasion wholeheartedly in this lockdown period. Corona may succeed in preventing many things but it can’t stop the unlimited flow of mother’s love. On this Mother’s day we are providing you a story on Mothers’ love towards their child.
25-year-old Ruksana-bi lives in Indore. She is a daily wage worker who earns Rs.10,000 per month and her husband accompanies her in the work. After the imposition of lockdown, she lost her work and the situation in Indore is quite frightening. Amethi in Uttar Pradesh is her own village.
So, in order to protect her child from COVID-19 and hunger, she decided to travel to her own village. Her husband resisted but she didn’t listen and started traveling by walk carrying her child on her head. She fed her 3-year old baby with Biscuits, bread, and jam all the way and took the help of some lorries which are carrying essential goods.
Finally, after traveling more than 10,000km, she reached her own village and all her hard work is only to protect her child from COVID-19 and feed her baby well in her own village.
