Ashwini kumar choubey, Union Minister of state for health (MOS) assured that Covid-19 warriors will be the first ones to get the dose of vaccines. “Our scientists are working very hard on it. Three vaccines against COVID-19 are in various stages of testing. And, if we succeed in getting a vaccine, our coronavirus warriors will be the first ones to receive the dose”, he asserted.
Minister Choubey hailed PM for launching National Digital Health Mission. He said that it’s a historic day to be remembered and emphasised that such initiative from PM would bring widespread change in the health sector.
In the press meet, the minister provided insights about the mission. He said health ID card provided for each citizen will ease the heathcare access to people and doctors in a hassle free way.
“The card will have the medical history of the patient, and a doctor will be able to access prior information on ailments and treatment, if any, and begin treatment based on it,” he stated.
Speaking further Choubey said, if a citizen travels from Patna to Bangalore, a doctor in the southern city will have accessibility to health-related data of the Patna patient, which can reduce the time taken for treatment and boost the developments.
