Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is still ahead of his opposition leaders as far as his popularity is concerned. There are bright chances that the ruling YSRCP could come to power again in 2024, according to the August edition of the Mood of the Nation poll.
The survey conducted by India Today in association with C-Voter found that if the polls were held today, the YSRCP would win 18 Lok Sabha seats out of 25 while the rest of the 7 seats would go to the opposition Telugu Desam Party.
According to the survey report, which was released on 11 August 2022, it appears like most voters in the state are still with YSRCP despite reports of anti-incumbency in many parts of Andhra Pradesh.
However, the survey report showed Janasena and BJP alliance would not manage to win a single seat, leaving the fight between YSRCP and TDP. It remains to be seen what happens in the coming as there is a lot of time for the next elections.
