After Mohan Babu was awarded a one year jail term for a cheque bouncing case, the actor responded about it through his social media account.
Mohan Babu said, “I paid the entire remuneration regarding Saleem movie to the director YVS Chowdary long back and also offered him a one more movie for which a Rs. 40 lakhs cheque was given to him. But as Saleem was registered as a failure at the box office, we withdrew the idea of making another film with YVS and so we had to cancel the cheque. We even informed this to the director and asked him not to go to bank. But he intentionally walked up to the bank and made the cheque bounce. He manipulated everything and made the court award me the jail sentence.”
Defending himself that there’s no fault with him, Mohan Babu also said that he is going to challenge the case in sessions court soon. He pleaded not to believe any rumors on him as all the channels are intentionally trying to malign his image.
Meanwhile, the netizens are trolling Mohan Babu big time, that he is now eligible to be a party member of YSRCP, as he got a case against him, like the party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. Initially when the news related to the case was out in the afternoon, the actor turned politician denied it saying that there’s no truth in it.
“Just heard about the false news propaganda by a few TV networks. Much to their disappointment, I am at my home in Hyderabad”, Mohan Babu tweeted.
But within no time, he released a note on the same twitter account saying that he would challenge the case in the sessions court. This further worsened the position of the Pedarayudu star as the netizens are now even making funny memes on his contradicting statements.
