In an interesting development in Andhra Pradesh politics, veteran actor Mohan Babu met TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s residence in Hyderabad. The meeting, which is said to have lasted for two hours, has become a topic of discussion in political circles.
As per reports, CBN and Mohan Babu have discussed key issues regarding Andhra Pradesh, and it is said that they will meet again a week later.
As Mohan Babu is a relative to current Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Collection King meeting the TDP Supremo has raised the eyebrows of everyone in the ruling party.
Mohan Babu, who entered politics with TDP, had served as Rajya Sabha MP under NTR’s regime. After the demise of NTR, the distance between CBN and Mohan Babu increased. During Chandrababu’s tenure, the ace actor also staged a protest against the TDP government regarding the dues of his educational institution, Sri Vidyanikethan. He even accused CBN of taking over TDP. After that, he joined YSRCP and campaigned for that party. He has been maintaining silence since the Jagan party came to power.
At the beginning of 2020, Mohan Babu, along with his family, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Although there was a campaign that he would join the BJP, nothing like that happened.
