To fight with the COVID-19 pandemic, the country is looking beyond lockdown and the Modi’s team is coming up with a decent plan. Reportedly, central government has decided to lift the lockdown restriction as intended on April 14th but is looking for alternatives to keep the virus spread in check.
The businessmen are already complaining that the extension of lockdown will cause grave damage to there lives and even many daily age laborers and workers are being affected due to lockdown. So, the Modi government has decided to lift the restrictions in several phases.
The Health Ministry has decided to come up with a new plan under which the places that have been reported with more cases are going to be announced as Buffer Zones. No activity will be taken place within five kilometres of these Buffer Zones. Shops, Schools, groceries and everything will be shut down and all the suspects will be tested twice and they will be sent home when they were tested negative.
After the last person was tested negative, the entire area would be kept under surveillance for a month and if no positive cases arise then the restrictions will be lifted in those buffer zones. In the meanwhile, the lockdown will be lifted in phases in the remaining areas but the people are advised to maintain social distancing and to prevent unnecessary outing.
