Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the port city of Visakhapatnam on November 11th, to lay the foundation stone for the further development of the Vizag railway station, which is being done at the cost of Rs. 400 Crores. He is also expected to take part in other activities related to the central government. The Andhra Pradesh BJP members are also making arrangements for the PM’s speech in the grounds of Andhra University Engineering college.
Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that the PM would be welcomed to the executive capital on a grand note, and that they would even invite him for laying the foundation to the Bogapuram airport. It is important to note that the Bogapuram airport was announced by the TDP government in the last tenure. While the project was announced quite some time ago, it was put on hold due to the lack of enough permissions.
It is expected that these permissions would be cleared with Modi’s visit. Moreover, the status of the Vizag railways is also expected to be cleared, now that the railway station is being developed. All the pending requests are expected to be approved in Vizag,w ith the PM’s visit, and the political dynamics in the state are also expected to change with the PM’s visit.
