Formally launching the party campaign in Telangana, on Friday evening the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, blamed the TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao for blinding believing in ‘astrologers’ instead providing promised good governance to mitigate the people’s pending woes.
Addressing an impressive rally in Mahabubnagar, Modi appealed to people that only their decisive vote to his party, will ensure robust development of the country in all spheres. He said, the regional parties, do have a responsible, but limited role in nation building. “We are Indians first and later ‘x’ or ’y’ or ‘z’ state or region people,” he pointed out.
He also unleashed scathing attack on the TRS and Congress, which are his party’s principle opponents in Telangana state, he alleged both the parties are only interested in dynasty politics, instead protecting the national security or its integrity. He said, while KCR’s TRS is more committed to take of his siblings – son, daughter and nephews, the Congress of Nehru-Gandhi family.
To drive the point home over these two parties lack of interests in promoting nationalism and nation building, he referred to the ‘evidence’ sought by the Congress-led Opposition on successfully surgical strike in PoK or recently the IAF aircrafts destroying the major Jaish-e-Mujahudeen (JeM) camps at Balkot, deep inside the PoK.
He also lambasted the Congress and other Opposition leaders question over his announcement on Indian space programme achievement the anti-statellite missile technology.
“Never before any government had dare to cross the PoK or International borders to destroy the terror camps,” he claimed.
Referring to the Congress and other Opposition party leaders hurling personal attacks on him, the Prime Minister said, it was your ‘love and support’ that is restraining me to stoop to their levels. He was obviously referring to ‘chowkidar chor hai’, ‘neech’ and ‘kameena’ kind epithets without mentioning them.
He appealed to the people to strengthen his hands by ensuring his party nominee from Mahabubnagar and elsewhere in the state, to serve the nation better and take it to new heights.
