The COVID-19 is creating tremors in the sub-continent as the number of positive cases started to escalate in the world charts and India finally reached 4th position in the countries with the most number of COVID-19 positive cases. Yesterday, unbelievably more than 10,000 people were tested positive for Novel Corona Virus.
Only Maharashtra and Tamilnadu states comprise 1,40,000 cases in the total tally and this situation is forcing the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to revise his plans on the COVID-19 control. So, after a month, the Center once again has decided to interact with the Chief Ministers of all states.
On 16th and 17th this month, the Prime Minister will hold a video conference with all states’ Chief Minster and especially Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana are the states of interest. Now, it seems like Modi will decide on the ongoing demand – ‘Total Lockdown’ amid this huge surge in the positive cases.
Most likely Most will discuss the plans that the states will have to adopt if there is another stringent lockdown that comes into force which seems like an inevitable option at this crucial juncture. Many people believe that this meeting Chief minister is all about the implementation of ‘Complete Lockdown’ in the country once again and let’s see if they are right with their prediction or not.
