A mishap happened at the inaugural ceremony of the 47th National Junior Kabaddi tournament in Suryapet, Telangana. The injured were rushed to the hospital.
Three galleries have been set up to view the national kabaddi games. Each gallery has a seating capacity of 5000. Over 1500 participants from all over India are participating in the Kabaddi Championship.
However, it seems that more than 100 people were injured in the accident. Authorities said the injured were rushed to the local hospital for treatment.
According to the information from reliable sources, the accident was caused due to allowing spectators beyond capacity into the gallery. It seems that the mishap happened due to the usage of the weak structures made of wood and other materials.
