AP Endownment Minister Vellampalli Srinivas met Swami Swaroopanandendra before his visit to Vijayanagaram district.
Swami Swaroopanandendra expressed concern over the attacks on Hindu temples. He said the reputation of the revenue department would be tarnished if such incidents were ignored.
Swamy asked that a fact-finding committee be set up on the Ramatirtha incident. Swami Swaroopanandendra said that the police had failed to find the culprits.
