Mem Famous was greatly hyped by the makers, Chai Bisket. But the film fell short of expectations and has registered an underwhelming opening at the box office, as expected.
Following the release and the subsequent poor opening at the box office, it is understood that the makers still have the audio, digital, satellite and music rights with them.
With the poor response, it has to be seen if the digital and satellite rights will ever be bought by other platforms. Even if they do, they will go for a very low price.
With the theatrical openings already on a disappointing note, it has to be seen how the makers will go ahead with the digital and satellite rights now. Will they be able to sell them or will they go unsold? We have to wait and see.
