It is known that Kollywood star Vijay teamed up with director Vamshi Paidipally for their next film, tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 66’. The shooting of the film kick-started in Hyderabad at the start of this month.
Meanwhile, a few reports suggested that Mehreen Pirzada is likely to be roped in for ‘Thalapathy 66’. The makers plan to rope in the young actress for a crucial role, and the talks are on with the actress. However, the PR team has refuted these rumours and revealed that the F2 actress is not a part of the movie.
Touted to be a pakka family drama, ‘Thalapathy 66’ has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead with Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Yogi Babu, Shaam, Jayasudha, and Srikanth in supporting roles. Thaman is scoring music for Vijay for the first time in the film.
