Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Vini Raman, on Monday, at a traditional Indian wedding in Chennai.
Notably, the couple entered the wedlock last week in Australia in a Christian wedding, and this time, they had their wedding in a traditional Tamilian Brahmin style.
Since Vini Raman is of Indian origin, the couple decided to have two weddings. Now, the video of the Indian wedding has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the star cricketer is seen exchanging garlands with his lady love, besides taking part in the ‘Varmala’ ceremony, a tradition popular in Tamil weddings.
On the professional front, Maxwell will soon join Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The franchise had retained him for a whooping Rs 11 crore ahead of the Mega auction.
