It is no secret that the YSRCP government, led by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, has been trying to bring down every single opposition party in the state, ever since they came to power in 2019.
The TDP government, when they were in power before the 2019 general elections, had accused the YSRCP members of indulging in various corrupt activities, and of course, the Suitcase company case related to CM Jagan. Not to mention, Jagan is himself at the center of various criminal cases.
The Jagan government then filed cases against the decisions that the TDP government took, with respect to the selling and buying of lands in Amaravati, and even termed it as internal trading. Several petitions with respect to this case have also been filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Now, the judgement that the HC gave is shocking the government totally.
The High Court cancelled all the petitions filed with respect to the Internal trading in Amaravati, saying that there’s no truth to these accusations and allegations. This has become a rather shocking judgement for the YSRCP government, which has been hoping for some sort of favourable judgement from the HC.
It is a fact that every government that is in power tries to benefit itself, and that there’s a good chance of a 60-40 deal between those in power, and those in not. It is also common for corruptions to take place in every government, and while it is undeniable that the TDP government was not clean, it is also undeniable that the YSRCP government is not clean either, and that digging into the past might turn out to be a rather bad idea for the current government.
