One would think that Vijay Deverakonda enjoys a huge fanbase in the Telugu states, but his fan following is equally high and euphoric in other parts of India as well. This was proved recently, when Vijay Deverakonda visited AN College in Patna, Bihar, yesterday, for the promotion of his upcoming film Liger.
College students and other general audience turned up in huge numbers to get a look at the actor, with the situation getting so out of control that the actor had to leave the promotions midway and leave through a completely different route, to avoid crowds and chaos. This is a major surprise, and just a testimony to how much the actor is loved by the Indian audience.
Liger, directed by Puri Jagannath, is going to be Vijay’s first pan-Indian release, and will feature Ananya Panday as the leading lady of the film. The film is all set to be released on August 25th, and is already carrying a good buzz around it. Vijay will be seen as a boxer in the film, in which boxing legend Mike Tyson will be seen in an important role.
