None of the sequels have worked out in Tollywood till date, and it seems, Manmadhudu 2 too would also fall in the similar zone.
Manmadhudu was one of the most entertaining films of Akkineni Nagarjuna’s career. Vijay Bhaskar’s direction, Devi Sri Prasad’s music and more importantly Trivikram’s dialogues have made the 2002 blockbuster, one of the finest films in Akkineni hero’s career.

While Manmadhudu 2 was anticipated to continue the success streak, the just-a-while released teaser leaves no hope on the film. However, Nagarjuna was seen in an ultra posh avatar and the visuals are rich and stunning. Manmadhudu 2 is all about a hero pretending to be innocent in front of his family and doing all the naughty things when they were away.
The 50 plus hero is going to be seen as an out and out playboy in the film. Will it disturb the mood of the audience, who is considering him as an age old hero or boost those who are waiting to see him prove once again as a romantic hero? Let’s see.
