Later the business tycoon announced that he would extend his support to uplift migrant labourers and their families. As expected today the Automotive giant Mahindra & Mahindra has once again come out with a remedy that help cut the burden of many who have been stalled and suffered during this Coronavirus pandemic.
The company also was gearing up to support the front line workers by providing medical tools like ventilators, aerosol boxes and face shields to assist the medical practitioners in performing their duties. At present it has also turned its priority to help people who are tying to go back home to different parts of the nation.
The company has notified that via its Automotive and Tractor supplier companions it looks to assist the stranded migrants coming back to their native during this paralysed phase.
This shall be initiated within the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Odisha. Rajesh Jejurikar, Govt Director, Auto and Farm Sectors at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd shared the news on Twitter saying that the corporate shall tie up with 139 District Magistrates within the afore mentioned states to ease the process and thanked other partners who came forward for the initiative.
Anand Mahindra, chairman of the Mahindra group also appreciated his colleagues for responding promptly to the call. Addressing them he tweeted, “We’ll be looking at longer term initiatives as well, but their immediate problems need to be addressed. Do look at how we can assist, along with our dealer community, in their last-mile transportation issues.”
