Tamil superstar Vijay is known for picking subjects which blend social message and commerical elements. This is very much evident with his recent films namely, Sarkar, Mersal, Bigil, Kaththi. All these films have equal doses of social message and commercial value.
Interestingly, Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu seems to be following a similar path. Of late, Mahesh has been starring in social dramas more often than not. The handsome hero scored a massive hit with Srimanthudu, which bears a strong social message and followed it up with Bharath Ane Nenu, and Maharashi which fall under a similar category.
Incidentally, even Mahesh’s upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be a social drama with an underlying message. It deals with the loopholes in the banking system and their effects on the common public.
As said by our sources, Mahesh is looking for more subjects which contain social message and also posses good commercial value.
Before kick-starting his much-awaited film with Rajamouli, Mahesh will be working on two projects apart from Sarkaru Vaari Paata and he wants both these films to be social dramas.
