Director Ajay Bhupathi‘s upcoming film ‘Maha Samudram‘ is hitting the headlines for interesting reasons. Earlier on Tuesday, we revealed that three stars actresses- Rakul Preet, Kajal and Sruthi Hassan- rejected to do a special song in the film.
As per a source, the makers approached the actresses to play in a song tribute to actress Rambha. The latest we hear is Maha Samudram team recently shot a mass song paying tribute to Rambha. It is said to be a groovy number in which only her cut-out and photos appear.
The song was shot on actor-turned character artist Jagapati Babu and Sharwanand at a specifically built set. The veteran actor will be seen as a fan of Rambha. The makers got a nod from the actress before filming the song.
Tipped to be an intense love and action drama, the film stars Siddharth in a key role. Maha Samudram also has Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel as the leading ladies. It is bankrolled by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainments and it has music by Chaitan Bharadwaj.
