Actor Ajay Devgn’s well acclaimed stunt from his 1991 film Phool Aur Kaante is still a hot favourite among fans even after decades. It not always a good idea to mimic film stars acts and fight scenes as it happens in a strict supervision. While a cop in Madhya Pradesh landed in trouble after a video of him copying the stunt, spread like wild fire on social media.
In the video, the cop named Manoj Yadav, in charge of Narsinghgarh police station in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh apes the phool aur kante stunt. It’s seen in the video that he balances himself on two slowly moving cars, with one foot on each of the roof of the two cars. The video has a title track of Rohit Shetty film, Singham, playing in the background.
The act reminds about a scene in Phool Aur Kaante, where Ajay Devgnn does the same but with two bikes. The actor again recreated the same stunt with two cars in the film Golmaal Returns. Manoj Yadav’s look replicates that of Ajay’s other super hit film, Singham, where the actor played a tough cop.
The incident got unpleasant response – Manoj was slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 and warned against any such dare devil acts in the future, police officials said on Monday and shared the same on twitter. When the video of the stunt went viral on social media, Inspector General of Sagar range, Anil Sharma ordered Damoh Superintendent of Police Hemant Chauhan to probe the case and then the police officials never took a chance to disregard the act as it might set a wrong example and could have far reaching effects on the youth in the future, they stated.
