Madhura Wines directed by Jaya Kishore has caught everyone’s attention with its promotional stuff. Starring Sunny. Naveen and Seema Chowdhury as the lead pair, the film is out for public viewing today. Let’s see how it fares.
Story:
Unable to forget his girlfriend who disappears from his life suddenly, a youngster named Ajay( Sunny Naveen) gets addicted to liquor and always likes to spend time at Madhura Wines owned by Anand Rao( Sammohit Tumuluri). But one fine day, Ajay comes across a beautiful girl Anjali( Seema Chowdhary) and falls for her. But a major twist in the plot comes in the form of Anjali’s family. What is the problem? How will Ajay face the issue which is connected with Wine Shop owner Anand Rao? Forms the rest of the story.
On-screen Performances:
Sunny Naveen performance in the painful role as a failure lover is decent. He showcased good variance in the character that has multiple emotions to portray.
Heroine Seema Chowdhary is cute in the girl next door character. Her chemistry with the hero is adorable on the screen. Sammohit Tumuluri gave a good performance in his key role. His acting during emotions scenes bring depth to the proceedings.
Leela Venkatesh, Harish Roshan, Ramachandra did decent job in the hero’s friends characters.
Off-screen talents:
Jay Krish, Karthik Rodriguez’s music is good. Background music is also fine. Mohan Chary’s cinematography is natural and realistic. He captured the songs nicely.
Editing work by Vara Prasad lacks sharpness in it. Production values for this low budget movie are decent.
Director Jaya Kishore came with an attractive title Madhura Wines to generate among the audience. He starts off the narration on an interesting manner by showcasing how youngsters are wasting their valuable time by getting addicted to bad habits. Though Jaya Kishore narration in the first half is predictable, the director generated curiosity among the audience during the interval block. But the narrative in the second half falls flat with uneven scene order and slow-paced proceedings.

Verdict:
In an overview, Madhura Wines is message-oriented youthful drama that showcases the hurdles in the love life of a youngster. Though the lead actors gave a decent performance, lack of depth in the proceedings in the second half makes the film a tedious watch.
