“Santhana Prapthirasthu” is all set for a grand release on November 14, offering a refreshing mix of love, fun, and emotion. Starring Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary, the film is directed by Sanjeev Reddy and produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy under the banners of Madhura Entertainment and Nirvi Arts.
The movie stands out for its sensitive yet entertaining take on a rare subject — male fertility issues. Producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy shared that the story delivers a positive message while keeping the narration lighthearted and family-friendly. “Though the story revolves around a male fertility problem, it’s told with humor, emotion, and honesty. It’s a clean, emotional, and entertaining love story for all audiences,” he said.
Madhura Sreedhar praised director Sanjeev Reddy for completing the shoot efficiently in just 56 days. “The comedy is organic and natural, supported by strong performances from Vennela Kishore, Tarun Bhascker, Abhinav Gomatam, and Muralidhar Goud,” he added.
He revealed that a few known heroes initially turned down the project due to its bold theme. “In Bollywood, Ayushmann Khurrana has done such unique roles and earned huge respect. Telugu actors too should explore such real subjects. We chose Vikranth, a fresh face, as the story needed a hero without any image barriers,” he explained.
According to Sreedhar, the film reflects the changing mindset of Telugu audiences. “Today’s viewers are open-minded and mature. Fertility is a common issue, and it should be discussed freely. Our film presents it with sensitivity and positivity,” he said.
Calling Santhana Prapthirasthu a “musical family entertainer,” he shared that all songs are already trending, with the trailer receiving an excellent response. The film is releasing in 300 theaters across India and nearly 200 in the U.S. through People’s Media Vishwaprasad. “It’s a sincere, content-driven film made with honesty. We’re even planning a sequel — Santhana Prapthirasthu 2 — based on fake fertility centers,” Sreedhar revealed.
Co-producer Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy, who hails from an IT background, said he was drawn to the story for its relevance. “Set in an IT backdrop, this story feels real and relatable. We’ve treated the subject with dignity, without crossing moral lines,” he said.
He also mentioned their NGO, Friendly Welfare, which has been active since 2003. “We want to tell stories that inspire today’s youth. Though our film is small in scale, it carries a strong, positive message,” Nirvi said, adding that they plan to start Debut Awards to recognize new talent in Telugu cinema.
With its unique theme, honest storytelling, and heartfelt entertainment, Madhura Sreedhar’s Santhana Prapthirasthu is poised to touch hearts and spark meaningful conversations when it hits screens this November 14.
