Many pictures and videos of people waiting outside the wine shops in the long queue are going viral on social media. After witnessing these videos, we can find that the tipplers are not worried about the spread of the virus even they stand very close to others, neglecting the Covid-19 norms.
Although the shopkeepers requested them to maintain physical distance while standing in queues, the customers jostled with each other to purchase liquor. And we can see most of the people even failed to wear the face masks properly.
The fear of less stock in the liquor stores looks much smaller than the fear they have for Covid-19. In order to buy the stock in large quantities, the customers are continuing to ignore the Covid safety norms.
