Leading South Indian film producer, Subhaskaran is investing heavily in the Indian film industry by bankrolling several big budget films. His production company, Lyca Productions, is known for making elite league films like “2.0” and “Ponniyan Selvan 1 & 2.”
The star producer is happy with the success of “PS-1” and “PS-2,” and now he unveiled the slate of upcoming films, which feature top stars like Superstar Rajinikanth, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, and Complete Actor Mohan Lal. The next big pan-Indian release from Lyca Productions is “Indian 2,” starring Kamal Haasan and directed by S Shankar. Subhaskaran is also producing Rajinikanth’s next two films, “Lal Salaam” and “Thalaivar 170”.
Subhaskaran’s entry into the Malayalam film industry is completely changing the game for Mollywood, as he has announced the most expensive Malayalam film ever. The film, titled “L2E: Empuraan,” which reunites Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is Subhaskaran’s first Malayalam production. This will also be a pan-Indian production.
The producer is hoping to set foot in Tollywood as well very soon and he will be announcing his slate of films shortly.
