Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary Nara Lokesh had agreed to take up a padayatra a long time ago, to get more into the people of the state, and to understand them better. It is now being said that he might take up a padayatra sooner, rather than later, considering the fact that the TDP is said to want to keep up the momentum that the recently held Mahandayu event in Ongole gave them.
Mahanadu in Ongole become a grand success, and it is being said that all the members of TDP are of the intention to keep this momentum going and sustain the confidence that it instilled in them. The people of the state have responded quite well to the Ongole Mahanadu, which gave them hope that things can be rescued still.
Given that Lokesh has been trying his best to socialize with the people of the state for quite a few months now, and also with the other members of his party so that everyone would get to know him better, and so that he too would get to know everyone else better, Lokesh beginning a padayatra sometime soon would do a lot of good for the party, given that the elections are just two years away.
