It is known that the TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently in New Delhi.
Now, an interesting news came out that Nara Lokesh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the same day when CBN met PM Modi in Delhi. However, we cannot find any news regarding this meeting anywhere.
The reports revealed that the ruling BJP party in the Centre is keen to join forces with the opposition party TDP in Andhra Pradesh. In a bid to expand its empire in the country, BJP has been making alliances across the states and in this process, the top heads of the saffron party are holding talks with CBN to make his party come on board into the NDA.
On the other side, TDP also found that the BJP’s vote share of a mere 3 to 4 per cent in the state would be of little consequence to it in an Assembly election while it would considerably boost the TDP’s vote share in a parliamentary election.
The reports further revealed that an announcement regarding the alliance is expected to be made during the coming festival season.
