It is known that the government of Andhra Pradesh sent its representatives, Chandrababu and Nara Lokesh to the World Economic Forum in Davos. In this context, Lokesh and Chandrababu have already initiated meetings with global giants.
At a key meeting with Swiss industrialists in #Zurich alongside CM @ncbn Garu, we highlighted AP’s investor-friendly policies, including: Fast-track approvals in just 15 days through APEDB, Strategic connectivity with 1,053 km coastline, world-class road networks, and major ports in Vizag, Kakinada, Krishnapatnam (new ports in Machilipatnam, Ramayapatnam soon!).
We urged Swiss companies to set up manufacturing & R&D centers in precision engineering, AI, deep tech, and other emerging tech areas. We also requested them to partner with AP universities to drive advanced innovations, establish Innovation Hubs and incubators to foster startups and enable tech transfer. Ideas about introducing the Swiss VET model to skill up AP’s youth, with initiatives like Geberit-style plumbing labs was also discussed, Lokesh tweeted.
The father and son duo is busy in inviting investments to Andhra Pradesh, which is in desperate need of financial resources.
