Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Amjad Basha said the main opposition TDP is trying to mislead people. He says that the Legislative Council is making false propaganda to send the bill of three capitals to the Select Committee by the Legislative Council President.
He said that the TDP was adamant about having the bill discussed in the Legislative Council, citing Rule 71 to stop the discussion and continued to disrupt the proceedings of the House.
Deputy CM told the media a video of Legislative Council Chairman Sharif talking to the press. In which the Chairman of the Legislative Council himself is saying that only after the completion of any process, including discussion on any bill, it can be referred to the Select Committee.
He said that the legislation containing three capitals could not apply to the Select Committee due to not only the discussion but other processes not being completed.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the Assembly and Chandrababu’s son Nara Lokesh in the Legislative Council Not only did the bills related to the three capitals but also tried to stop the bill of the English medium government schools.
He said that these antics of Chandrababu and Nara Lokesh make it clear that they have nothing to do with the people of the state, and their selfishness only means them.
The deputy CM said that the ruling party had repeatedly said in the Legislative Council that it would first introduce the bill in the House and later had no objection to discussing Rule 71.
But the opposition did not give up its stubbornness, and the Chairman of the Legislative Council also seen supporting the opposition in away.
