Russia’s attacks on Ukraine escalated after the explosion of the Crimean Bridge, also called Kerch Strait Bridge. As the situation became serious again, the Indian embassy issued a fresh warning to Indians asking them not to travel to Ukraine. It advised that any Indians still in Ukraine should leave the country as soon as possible.
To this extent, an advisory was released on Wednesday night. “In view of the deteriorating security situation & recent escalation of hostilities across Ukraine, Indian nationals are advised against travelling to Ukraine. Indian citizens, including students, in Ukraine, advised to leave Ukraine at earliest,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, missile attacks are raging across the country. Due to this, the conditions of war are becoming more serious. However, there are concerns that Moscow may use nuclear weapons in this war. Many countries believe that if that happens, it will lead to a third world war.
Meanwhile, Russia declared it had captured four cities in Ukraine and imposed martial law there on Wednesday. There are reports that Russia is likely to increase its attacks by making these four areas war centres. In the wake of the developments, the Indian Embassy has issued the latest advisory.
