Few weeks back there is a huge controversy over the releases of Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru and Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramulo as both the movies announced their release dates on the same day i.e., on January 12th, 2020.
Both the parties are adamant on releasing the movies on that particular day and even promoted their flicks at that point stating that. However Producers Guild came into the picture and cleared the issue. They made Sarileru Neekevvaru producers to prepone their release by a day.
Now Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapuramulo are releasing on January 11th and January 12th respectively. Promotions of both the movies are going on at a brisk pace.
Just when everyone is thinking that things are going fine, here comes the late twist. Rumours are that Allu Arjun camp are not happy with January 12th and are contemplating to release the movie on January 10th which is a Friday release, which will have more advantage than 12th.
However, AVPL makers are not so happy with this proposal. They had a bad memory with Agnatavasi which released on 10th January. So they do not want to change the release date. Even though keeping aside sentiment, it is not good for any movie to change the release date last minute, is what the producers are saying.
Currently discussions are going on and the out come will be decided after the discussions.
