After the Kannadigas trending the hashtags like #BoycottRRR on social media, KVN Productions, which is distributing ‘RRR’ in Karnataka, has now issued a statement about releasing the magnum opus in the Kannada language.
Addressing the fans, the production house said that lead actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan have put special efforts to learn Kannada and dub in their own voice for the first time.
“We understand that you would love to witness the magnum opus in Kannada language. Hence, the convincing act with reluctant theatre owners to play the Kannada version of RRR is in full swing,” the statement read.
The production house also assured to bring the Kannada version to as many screens by tomorrow. RRR, which will release in Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada languages, has made plans in a big way to bring a massive audience to the theatres across the country.
But, with Puneeth Rajkumar’s last film, James is screening in Karnataka, not a big number of screens are left for RRR makers to release both Telugu and Kannada versions on maximum screens.
Produced by DVV Entertainment, ‘RRR’ also has Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris.
