Telangana IT minister K Taraka Rama Rao passed a sensational statement in Telangana assembly the other day as he spoke at length about the Secundrabad Cantonment area, which is serving as the residency place for several military bigwigs.
“The Secunderabad Cantonment area is emerging as a menacing proposition for Telangana government. The defense authorities are obstructing the development works in the area and blocking roads. If need be, we will cut water and power supply to the area in order to take matters into own hands/” KTR said.
With this, the IT minister has issued an indirect warning to the central government, say political observers.
“Considering all these issues and the problems faced by residents due to the LMA actions, the State Government would be forced to take action accordingly”, he concluded.
