Telangana’s IT Minister and Sircilla MLA, KTR, warned stringent action against the people who are attempting for illegal deforestration. The MLA urged the local citizens to take the ownership to avoid such malpractices in the region.
On Tuesday, KT Rama rao graced the opening ceremony of a bridge built at a cost of Rs. 15 crore including a 33/11 KV sub-station in Kancharla village. On this occasion, he distributed land deeds to 307 ST beneficiaries in Rangampet village of Veernapalli mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district. The responsibility to safeguard the forests was also given to all those who are cultivating podu lands ( a type of shifting cultivation) encompassing about 281 acres of land in Rangampet village.
The minister also said T-fiber will be providing the internet access throughout the state. Speaking further, he said the T-Fiber works in the state are quickly progressing and the government is taking steps to provide internet at every nook and cranny.
KTR said that with CM KCR’s initiative, districts have been reorganised and subsequently, Veernapalli was formed as a new mandal to make villagers have access to the government for their problems. He said Telangana government intends to provide greater benefits to the farmers and backward communities, where welfare schemes like Rythu Bima and Rythu Bandhu was part of its initiatives.
