Kriti Sanon has been cooped up in self-isolation with her family and furry cute pets, Disco and Phoebe. She had been spending some quality time with her family and optimising it by taking up various activities and chores to beat the boredom.
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Kriti Sanon took to the social media to acknowledge the efforts of the ‘wonder ladies’ who are striving to distribute their jobs as moms, sisters, spouses, daughters, and employees. The actress has advised them that ‘‘Me time’ is also vital.
“Womanhood must be commended without compromise,”she added. The actress proudly shares us about how her mother, Geeta, who was the first independent woman in their family to fetch a job and how she paved way to combat the patriarchal stereotypes.
In an interview she shares, “My mother who is a Physics professor, completed her PhD after my birth. My grandparents would urge, ‘ Kya karogi itna padhayi karke, naukri karke?’, but she never hesitated. And thank God that she didn’t, because whatever I have imbibed from her has made me what I am, today.”
