A week or so ago, Gopichand Malineni who directed Krack lodged a complaint with the producer’s council, saying the producer of the film did not pay his remuneration in full.
The noted director said the producer is not clearing the dues and asked the council to take legal action on the matter.
The council questioned the producer of Krack, B Madhu about the same and reverted back to them.
“It is true that I did not pay his remuneration in full. I need more time to settle the financial dispute. There has been some miscommunication from Gopichand’s side,” he stated.
Madhu further added that he produced Krack with great difficulty and landed in a financial mess by the time the project was completed. He requested for more time to solve the issue amicably.
Krack turned out to be a box office blockbuster and minted good profits to everyone involved. But it appears to be that the director and producer are yet to settle the financial matters.
