Nellore rural MLA, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy is said to have decided to quit the YSRCP in the next two days. The MLA has not been given enough importance in the party for a long time now, and despite his best efforts, he is said to be feeling completely ignored by the YSRCP. As a result, he is said to have decided to leave the YSRCP after consulting with his well wishers and close associates.
Kotamreddy is expected to join the TDP, and while he is said to be leaving the YSRCP, there’s no clarity over whether he will resign from his assembly membership as well. Kotamreddy is also said to be in a dilemma over whether or not it is a good idea to shift to the TDP right away, and is said to be considering it a better option to shift to the TDP only after assessing the current situation properly.
However, his well wishers are said to have advised him to shift to the TDP because it would be a better prospect for him to fight against the YSRCP that way.
On the other hand, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is already said to be on the lookout for a replacement for Kotamreddy in the Nellore rural constituency. He has even reportedly zeroed in on a few candidates for the position.
