The much-awaited Kannada film Koragajja is making headlines after its grand audio launch event held in Mangaluru. The ceremony drew massive crowds and created a festive atmosphere, setting the tone for one of the most anticipated culture-based films from Karnataka.
Following the success of Kantara, which showcased the traditional Bhoota Kola ritual, Koragajja brings another powerful local legend to the big screen. The film is directed by Sahitya Akademi Award winner Sudheer Attavar and produced by Thrivikram Sapalya under the Thrivikrama Cinemas and Success Films banners.
Music for Koragajja is composed by Gopi Sundar, with songs sung by some of India’s finest voices including Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, Armaan Malik, Sharon Prabhakar, Swaroop Khan, and others. The album, released through Zee Music, is already winning the hearts of music lovers.
Speaking at the event, producer Thrivikram Sapalya thanked the audience for their enthusiastic response, saying the posters and 3D motion poster had created huge excitement. He added that the team plans to release the film very soon and promised a big surprise for viewers.
Director Sudheer Attavar shared that Kannada cinema has a rich global legacy and expressed pride in bringing Koragajja to today’s audience. He said the film beautifully reflects the culture and spirit of Tulu Nadu and hoped viewers will watch and support it wholeheartedly.
Actress Shruti said she was thrilled to be part of Koragajja, calling it a beautiful and meaningful film that highlights India’s traditions. Actress Bhavya described it as a powerful story that would appeal to all sections of the audience. Actor Sandeep Soparkar, who makes his Kannada debut with the movie, praised the team for giving him a memorable role and said every song and scene carries strong emotion and artistic value.
With its powerful theme, soulful music, and rich cultural backdrop, Koragajja is generating strong buzz even before release. The film is currently in post-production, and fans are eagerly waiting for its theatrical debut.
