Many are aware that ace director Gunasekhar is making a film called ‘Shaakuntalam’ where Samantha Akkineni is playing the titular role in this period-epic love drama. Effectively, the filming has started half a month ago in Hyderabad along with Malayalam co actor Dev Mohan who plays the role of King Dushyant. Presently, another noticeable entertainer has joined the film and she is Kollywood beauty Aditi Balan.
Aditi Balan, who stealed the spotlight with her first film Aruvi in 2017, is assuming a vital role in this undertaking. Shaakuntalam marks her maiden title entry in the Telugu entertainment world. Evidently, Aditi joined the sets and is going for the film along with the lead actors.
The actress joined the film’s sets seven days ago and she has posted an image of herself on her Instagram story as of late.
Shaakuntalam is being made with a high budget and it is being accounted for that Samantha has committed to work for about 150 working days for this film. Gunasekhar is making this film taking all things together the significant Indian dialects of history. It will hit the screens in 2022 Summer.
