The defeat in the recent elections has stooped down TDP to such low level that several leaders of the party are fighting with the own party leaders.
In the recent times, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani and another TDP leader Buddha Venkanna were involved in a verbal war on Twitter. The issue has turned so ugly, that the party chief Chandrababu Naidu had to interfere and control the leaders from mudslinging at one another. Now, the Cycle party had to face another such incident, which is making the party’s high command feel embarrassed in front of the other political parties.
Former AP Assembly speaker Kodela Siva Prasad is currently the in-charge of Satthenapalli constituency. But severely disturbed by his behavior, the TDP leaders of Guntur, are demanding Naidu to replace him with a new in-charge. Regarding this, they are also planning to meet Naidu.

All such leaders are alleging that Kodela is trying to dominate everyone in the constituency, which is troubling the party leaders. The reports are rife that he is also collecting a special tax from the party members, in the name of “Kodela tax”.
Meanwhile, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has good faith in Kodela, but as the accusations are mounting against the ex-speaker, only to meet the interests of the other leaders, Naidu may consider replacing Kodela with some other leader in Satthenapalli constituency.
Unwilling to forgo a dedicated leader of TDP like Kodela, it would be better if Naidu assures him some other key position in the party.
