Assembly elections have announced in Delhi. In such a situation, the question is whether the BJP will be able to repeat the performance of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which won 65 of the 70 assembly seats. The problem is also whether the common man will be able to repeat the 2015 elections, which won 67 out of 70 places. The question is, how is the performance of the Congress this time? Let us know the strength and weaknesses of Delhi’s three main parties Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), BJP, and Congress.

Strength and weakness of the Aam Aadmi Party

Let us first talk about the Aam Aadmi Party. The strength of the Aam Aadmi Party is its free electricity-water scheme, which has made a place among the familiar people. Also, the education system has improved on a large scale; its effect was seen.

At the same time, there has been an impact on the improvement of health services, in which the mohalla clinic has an important role. Along with this, women have given the facility of free movement in the transport facility. It will also affect.

The weakness of the Aam Aadmi Party has also seen in the last few years. Old strategists like Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan, Kumar Vishwas, Kapil Mishra, Alka Lamba will not be supported in this election. In such a situation, the party mainly relies on Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.

In the last few years, there were differences with Aam Aadmi Party bureaucrats as well. Even the matter of fight with the Chief Secretary of State reached the court. Along with this, relations with the central government have also deteriorated in the last five years. Tensions with the Lieutenant Governor were also maintained here.

Strength and weakness of BJP

The strength of the BJP is that the passage of the bill in Parliament benefited 40 lakh people of the capital by getting ownership of property in unplanned colonies. It can help in assembly elections.

The central government has implemented many schemes, including the Ujjwala scheme, Ayushman Bharat, people have benefited from the construction of toilets. If a BJP government is formed in Delhi too, there will be a double engine government, which will lead to the faster development of Delhi.

The impediments in functioning will overcome at all levels. The problem of pollution will also be diagnosed. Along with this, the BJP has won a massive victory in the last Lok Sabha elections and municipal elections, which will inspire the BJP in the assembly elections.

The main weakness of the BJP is confusion over the Chief Minister’s face in Delhi. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari is the state president here. But he has not been made the front of the Chief Minister yet.

Along with this, there is factionalism in the party, which can have an impact on the strategy of elections. At the same time, the BJP has the challenge of keeping the traders together because the slowdown in the economy has caused the most significant losses to traders.

Strength and weakness of Congress

The main strength of the Congress in Delhi is Sheila Dixit’s 15 years of work. During the tenure of Sheila Dixit, due to the Commonwealth Games, there were many levels of employment in Delhi, including water on the road, construction of flyovers, use of CNG in transportation, operation of lower floor buses and budget allocation of raw colonies started.

That type of development could not take place later. With this, the performance of the Congress has improved in the Lok Sabha elections. The party came second in this election; this has given the party energy. Experienced leaders remained connected even after the party was back in Delhi. Also, Arvinder Singh Lovely, Krishna Tirath, and Alka Lamba returned to the party.

The biggest weakness of Congress was the lack of strong leadership. After the death of Shila Dixit, the party had a famine of a large-scale leader.

It is the reason that the post of State President remained vacant for a long time after the death of Shila Dixit. Older leaders like Ajay Maken too backed down to take over the leadership.

There was factionalism in the party. Two-time MP, Sandeep Dixit has pulled politics back on his feet. However, the vote percentage of Congress has improved. The scattered organization is causing trouble for him.
