The makers of the upcoming sci-fi thriller Killer have unveiled a special birthday poster of lead actress Jyothi Poorvaj, offering fans a fresh look at her intriguing character. The film, which has already completed its post-production work, is now preparing for a grand theatrical release.
Directed by Poorvaaj, Killer stars Jyothi Poorvaj and Poorvaaj in the lead roles, while Manish Gilada, Chandrakanth Kollu, Vishal Raj, Archana Ananth, and Gautham Chakradhar Koppishetti play key supporting roles. The film is produced by Poorvaaj and A. Padmanabha Reddy under the Think Cinema and AU & I Studios banners, with Urvish Poorvaj presenting the project.
Released on the occasion of Jyothi Poorvaj’s birthday, the new poster introduces her as the mysterious and powerful “Super She.” Her striking appearance has attracted attention for its fantasy-inspired look, adding to the curiosity surrounding her role in the film.
According to the makers, Killer is built around a unique sci-fi world with high-end visual effects and an original storyline. Director Poorvaaj has not only helmed the project but also plays the role of a scientist working on CNA Integration and the ROY Protocol, making his character an important part of the narrative.
Sharing an update on the film, director Poorvaaj revealed that the entire post-production process, including the extensive VFX work, has been completed. He added that the additional time spent on visual effects was necessary to achieve the desired quality on screen.
The director also said that business discussions are currently underway with leading distributors and buyers. Several industry buyers have already watched the film along with the producers and reportedly appreciated its final output. The team is now working to complete business formalities and censor certification before announcing the official theatrical release date.
With its science fiction backdrop, visually rich presentation, and mystery-driven story, Killer is aiming to offer audiences a different cinematic experience when it arrives in theatres soon.
